Pedroia injured my a**! The little baby had to run home to Daddy Francona because he had a stitch in his side. If he could play for the Red Sox Saturday, he could have played for the USA team Sunday night. Who knows? That might have made all the difference.

Wait, you wish Pedroia had risked his health further so that team USA could possibly have advanced in the WBC? Where are you from? Surely, not Boston, because I don’t know a single soul who could give a shit less about the WBC, particularly when it threatens the regular-season health of a Sox player. My only thought about team USA getting eliminated is that I just wish it happened sooner.
